Accommodations are defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act as, “A modification or adjustment to a job, the work environment, or the way things are usually done during the hiring process. Adaptive Equipment is equipment used to aid in the ability of a person with a disability to move about their home and work environment and achieve activities of daily living (ADLs) such as completing tasks such as hygiene, dressing, cooking, seeing, and moving around their environment.
